Default Events Template / Default Page Template

Hello,

We are using The Events Calendar as the Home Page for our site and it looks great. The trouble is if we set the Events Template in the Display settings to Default Events Template, we get the full-width calendar on the Home page, which is awesome. But then we lose the sidebar information on all the Events Content posts. If we select to use Default Page template, then we do get all the side bar info, but lose the full width calendar on the Home page 🙁

Is there a way to set the Home page for full width, while allowing the events pages to show the sidebar?

And on an unrelated issue, the link on the Home page to Previous Events suddenly gets a dark background when viewed on mobile and makes the link unreadable. We’ve tried using the Inspector but can’t seem to grab the correct CSS to change it to something readable on Mobile. Any help with that would be great.
