dates in URLs for recurring events

Are there any settings that I can tweak the url settings so that the date is not in every recurring event url?

Could i do categories in my even urls?

Hello Jen,

The dates in the url are needed for the recurring events to tell the permalinks the correct event to find. So there is no settings to change that or add a category to the permalink either unfortunately. Not sure how feasible removing the dates would be, but adding categories to links maybe possible with some customization.
