Datepicker date format is wrong

Hello, I like your plugin very much but I have spent the last 10 hours trying to change the way the date format is set in the input fiels when submitting an event. I want to set it to DD-MM-YYYY but it is YYYY-MM-DD. I have tried changing all the obvious settings within the plugin, I have manually edited the template files and I have replaces the date format in the sql database useing PHPmyAdmin, but no luck. I can’t get this work. The other threads here with the same problem don’t provide a solution to the problem. Can you help me?

Sorry for the frustration with trying to change that.

The datepicker for the community events does not have a way for the format to be changed in the admin. It is setup by a script.

There is a snippet to try and change the format.
