Datepicker and Minify Bug

Just wanted to report there appears to be a bug whereby the date picker fails to work on the front end for users if js scripts are minified.

Specifically I’m using Community Events 3.12 and Better WordPress Minify 1.3.3. If the script with the handle ‘tribe-events-admin’ is minified by the plugin, the date picker doesn’t work. It works fine if you add it to the “Scripts to NOT minify” list.

Yes, minifying scripts is known to cause some issues so our answer is to do as you have done: not minify The Events Calendar scripts.

Well I hoped the answer would be to look into fixing it, not to work around it.

This is 2015 and minifying scripts is a best practice if you’re optimizing your site for performance.
