ParticipantHi Harold,
What browser and version are you using? Is this on a retina display by chance? Are you running the latest version of our plugins and WordPress? If not, you might try updating.
Does that help?

ParticipantHey Jonah,
I’m using WP 3.5.1 and I just bought the Community plugin. So that’s al the latest there is.
I’m using Safari but it I also see it on Chrome. Even op the iPad I see this.
So I see the date picker (3 months) but the background is transparent.April 15, 2013 at 3:54 pm #45901Jonah
ParticipantWhich date picker is this, on the back end or front end? Do you have a screenshot you can post? If on the front end, can you share the link here so I can take a look?
Thanks,

ParticipantIt’s on the front end. I find out that the Plugin “Better WordPress Minify” is giving the problem. If I switch this one off it works.
I can doe settings for scripts it should not Minify. Whats the script name of this?April 20, 2013 at 1:38 pm #46421Harold
ParticipantO sorry, this is in the wrong forum. It’s about the Community Events 🙂

ParticipantJonah, My problem is nog solved yet :). I would like to now the script name so I can tell the Minify plugin to skip that script.

MemberHi Harold,
So some scripts depend on other scripts and therefore the easiest way to build a list is to use a browser such as Chrome, or else Firefox with the Firebug extension (or something comparable, Opera+Dragonfly) and compare the list of scripts on the Add Events page with those on a standard non-event related page.
You’ll find there are quite a few, perhaps only some are impacting here though.

ParticipantBarry, Is there not just a script name liken – admin-bar – that I can use to not minify the complete Add Events Page?
April 23, 2013 at 7:47 am #46624Barry
MemberScripts directly relating to The Events Calendar/the add events form include:
* events-admin.js
* events.js
* chosen.jquery.min.js
* jquery-ecp-plugins.js
* jquery.pjax.jsAnd they depend in turn on various other scripts, which is why it would be best for you to inspect them for yourself. But you could certainly start with the above ones and see if setting exceptions for them helps or not.

ParticipantI tried to skip them but is not working. When I set – Minify CSS files automatically? – of then it shows the datepicker the right way

MemberOK, so you’ve got a working solution here?
April 24, 2013 at 8:00 am #46733Harold
Participant@barry YES/NO :). I tried different MINIFY plugins, but they are al giving this problem…. So it’s our better speed with Minify or use your community Events plugin… grrrr

MemberHmm. It’s difficult to help here without knowing which specific Javascript file (perhaps there is more than one) is choking things.
I know some minifiers can struggle if a line of code isn’t terminated with a semi-colon so something like that could be the problem – however if that’s the case it’s really the minifier which is “at fault”.
Unfortunately I don’t know that there is much else we can do to help here 🙁
