Dateless/timeless events

I want to invite new members in my community to a private workshop. This event will not be published in the general calendar. For that I can easily hide the event from other visitors in TECs backend.

However, I want to give these new members the option of choosing their preferred date as the workshop will take place every few weeks. Instead of making a new event and ticket for each date, I would like to have ONE “dateless” and “timeless” event and ONE product. I make use of the Woothemes plugin “product add-on” that allows me to ask questions on the product page. It’s a super plugin that you should advertise on TEC as well because it allows for asking any question to the buyer and eventually put an amount on the answer. For instance, will you join us for lunch (if yes, +€20) or would like to sit on the front row (+€15). Open questions are also possible. For my question today I want to put the various dates of the workshop here. Then the new member can simply choose the best date.

Still, there is one problem because the event itself MUST have a date and TIME. If I don’t fill out a date the system generates automatically today’s date (3 September). I don’t want this. Is there any way to leave this space blank? On the frontend it must then say:
Date: various dates
Time: Various times
Of course I can immediately forward the new member to the URL of the product, but then s/he misses out on the event description and the nice pictures (it’s a Brussels-based chocolate workshop…).

Thanks for using our plugins.

That is an interesting feature, but nothing we have can do that. Everything is tied into using dates so it would be a significant overhaul of the plugin to do as you ask.

So unfortunately, we are not going to be able to help out on this.
