ParticipantWhen I create ticket and enter Start Sale and End Sale dates they show on screen. When I go back to edit the ticket they are no longer visible. the date range seems to be working as I postponed the sale of tickets till August 1 and the tickets do not show on the ordering page.
I have tried to edit the ticket in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Dates do not show in any of the browsers

KeymasterHi there,
Thanks for emailing support and sorry you are having issues. This may be a conflict with another plugin. Can you try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? If you would prefer not to do this on your live site, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing. Let me know what you find!
Thanks,

ParticipantI did as you suggested and used WP Staging to create a test site. I then followed your “testing for conflicts” instructions and completed the following:
Step 1) Switch to the Twenty Sixteen theme
Step 2) Disable all plugins except Tribe Events plugins. (I also had to keep WooCommerce activated otherwise the tickets disappeared.)
Step 3) Clear your browser cache, and retest.I still have the same issue. The start and end dates are blank when I go back to edit the ticket. I even created a new ticket and have the same issue.

KeymasterHi there,
If that doesn’t help, the next step in troubleshooting this is going to be testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins (with WP_DEBUG enabled). With debug mode enabled, go through the same task of creating a ticket and see what errors come up. Please send those errors.
Thanks,

ParticipantThese are messages found in the WP_DEBUG_LOG file

KeymasterHi there,
It looks like you may need to fix something in your theme or one of the plugins. Here is a tutorial on how to find where this error is occurring and to fix it.
Definitely make a backup before making any code changes. Also, make sure you are running the latest version of WordPress and all plugins are up to date.
Let me know if that resolves the issue with the dates.
Thanks,

ParticipantBrendan,
I am confused by your response. In earlier emails you had me test for conflicts by disabling all plugins except Tribe Events plugins and WooCommerce. I also used the Twenty Sixteen theme instead of my theme. During that test the error still happened. You are now telling me that I “need to fix something in your theme or one of the plugins”. We proved earlier that the error is not in my theme or another plugin. ??????????????

KeymasterHi there,
I am not sure if that error is coming from your theme. The instructions first help you identify where this code is coming from. It could be from Woocommerce or it could be from something not updating in one of our plugins. So fixing it would either fix the issue or rule out this conflict. One other thing you can try is to remove our plugins and reinstall them with fresh copies. Removing them will still keep your settings in the database so the only thing being replaced would be the files.
Make sure you are also testing with the Woocommerce add-ons deactivated as well. Sometimes these can be the root cause.
Let me know what you find.
Thanks,

ParticipantBrendan,
Thanks for your suggestion about removing your plugins. I thought I would start with The Events Calendar since the issue is related to calendar entries. Well when I looked for the plugin, it was not there! I do not recall deleting it. I may have thought since we do not use the Calendar I could delete the plugin. So I downloaded and installed The Events Calendar. Lo and behold the issue has gone away. Start and end dates now appear when I edit an existing ticket.
Thanks for your help in resolving this issue.
