    Hi,

Our news website currently features an events widget on our homepage and landing pages, and a separate page houses the full calendar.

We have not been able to edit our current widget so that it excludes events with wide date ranges. The problem arises when the widget pulls an event, say, a gallery exhibit, whose opening date happens in May and doesn’t end until August. The widget then displays that gallery event for four months on our homepage – obviously not an ideal feature for a news website.

Does the Tribe events calendar widget have a way around this problem? We’re moderately happy with the calendar we have now, but would be willing to switch for an improved widget.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks.

    Hi Claire,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

We’ve worked hard to do things the WordPress way – and one benefit from this is that with some customization work you can safely bend our code to do almost anything without hacking any core plugin code.

In this case, what you want isn’t facilitated out of the box – it’s certainly achievable though 🙂
