Date range display

Hi,
How could I format date range for an event page which takes for example 2 days?
Now I have:
“3 January – 5”

it looks strange, my site is in Polish

I would like to have:

“3 January – 5 January”
or
“3 – 5 January”

Hi!

We’re actually introducing a change to help improve things in this sort of situation.

As a short-term solution, would it be possible for you to alter your date formats slightly so the month precedes the date (ie, January 5) … I realize that may not be the style or convention you want but might it work until we deliver a fix in a future release?

If not, just let me know – I’m sure we can figure out an alternative approach.

Sorry but in Polish it looks really strange. I’ve added month to:

$format2ndday = ‘j F’; (line 864, public/general.php)

but of course it isn’t a general solution.

Definitely not a good long-term solution, I can appreciate that. If you do have something that lets you workaround this for the time being, though, perhaps you can wait just a little longer? I’m hopeful our next release – currently in the final stages of preparation – will address this 🙂
