    we’re having some issues with our plug ins;
    – The Events Calendar 4.4.0.1
    – Events Calendar Pro 4.4
    – Community Events 4.4

    I did quite a few tests (while logged out of wordpress, on different browsers) and found the following problems:

    Uses current date instead of submitted event date
    – when a user submits a form for an event, the submission in the dashboard does not retain the date, and instead shows the current date as the date of the event; the user submitted date is lost

    Organizer Details and Venue Details fields on submission form show all previous organizers and venues in a dropdown list, rather than fields for the user to submit their information
    – user can still create a new venue or organizer, but we don’t want all previous users’ information to be listed publicly like that

    Confirmation page does not show, sometimes gives “wordpress failure notice” page with “are you sure you want to do this?” message
    – after submitting the form the browser redirects to a blank page (at the same url), we still receive the event as a draft in the dashboard, but to the user it looks as though it may have failed

    Hello spencemann,

    Thanks for getting in touch and I’m sorry you are having these issues. Let me try to help you solve them.

    As a first please try deactivating all plugins except for the Calendar ones and switch to a default theme like twentysixteen and check if you are still experiencing the same issues. This will help us eliminate any conflicting plugins or a theme conflict.

    Also please check the following: open the web development tools in your browser (F12), switch to the console tab and reload the Add Community Event page. Check if you have any error messages in the console.

    Let me know the outcome of these and we’ll dig further.
