Date and Time Fields Not Importing

Hello! So I have been playing around with The Events Calendar plugin and we have no been able to figure out how to remove the “Detail Tags” from the Details view, and how to feed the Date/Time fields (the date and time shows up on the top part of our page though). Please advise – I’ve already tried to disable other widgets and plugins to figure it out, but can’t seem to find a solution.

Hi,

Your best bet would be to create a template override. Our Themer’s Guide – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/  – will get you started on that, in case you didn’t do so already.

You should create an override for this file:

wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta/details.php

here:

wp-content/themes/[your-theme]/tribe-events/modules/meta/details.php

and modify the file according to your needs.

“Details” is in row 56.

You might need to use some functions to call in the start / end times. Try here:

Probably these two:

• https://theeventscalendar.com/function/tribe_get_end_time/
