ParticipantHello,
We are experiencing a few issues within our WordPress dashboard in regards to Events Calendar Pro:
1. when we navigate to the ‘Updates’ page from within our WordPress dashboard, these 2 messages appear:
“There is an update available for The Events Calendar PRO but your license key is out of installs. Visit the Modern Tribe website to manage your installs, upgrade your license, or purchase a new one.”
AND “There is an update available for The Events Calendar: Filter Bar but your license key is out of installs. Visit the Modern Tribe website to manage your installs, upgrade your license, or purchase a new one.”
Please see this screenshot: http://london-meditation.co.uk/troubleshooting/license-key-message.png
These messages appear EVEN THOUGH all of our plugins are up to date. From within our Modern Tribe account, the license keys for both of these items shows an expiration date of Oct 7th, 2016.
Why do these messages appear when our plugins are already up to date?
How can our license key be out of installs?
2. Under Events > Settings > Filters
Nothing appears in the Available Filters and Active Filters sections.
Please see this screenshot: http://london-meditation.co.uk/troubleshooting/filters-dashboard-screenshot.png
How can we manage our filters if they do not appear there?

Your support in sorting out this issues is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

ParticipantUPDATE: Please note that issue #1 has been resolved (it was replied to in the original thread that we posted it in – we have now removed our license keys from the dev site that they were originally installed on and so everything is all set with this).
So please disregard issue #1 in this thread.
Issue #2 is still a problem.
Thank you!

ParticipantUPDATE: In fact, we are still having an issue with the license keys. Though we removed them from the dev site, they are not in fact saving properly on our website. We have tried several times to save them, and while it ‘appears’ to go through properly upon saving, when we return to the license key page, the license keys have been somehow deleted and the fields are blank. As such, the error messages on the ‘Updates’ page are still appearing.
So we do still need help in fixing this issue…

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
Many times the issue is saving before a valid message is shown, so the key saves, but it is not saving that it is valid.
Can you please confirm you are following all these steps:
Visit License Tab
Enter License Key
You get a Green License Valid Message
After you get the message you are then clicking “Save Changes”
Then you get a “License key(s) updated.” message near the top of the page. Also you can can always download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and use this guide for manual updates:
Let me know if it is not working after following those steps and we can do some troubleshooting steps next.
Thanks
