Daily admission tickets

We are a small museum that is open daily. We would like to offer ticket sales online for admission. Is there a way to create a unique ticket for this that is scam free ?

Thanks for reaching out!

The closest thing our ticketing plugins provide here would be to create an event every single day that the Museum open. It can “start” when the Museum opens, and “end” when the Museum closes.

Then, sell tickets on each day’s “event”.

Our ticketing plugins only sell tickets on specific events, so something like the above solution would be necessary.

As for “scam-free”, it’s of course impossible to make any ticket truly scam-free, any computer “un-hackable”, any car “accident-free”, etc. Someone with enough determination and resources could scam tickets anywhere.

But our plugins do make it rather hard and as long as you operate with best security practices on your WordPress site itself, our tickets are unique and can only be scanned with QR Codes once; can only be checked-in once; etc.

This is what I thought. I suppose the ‘Pro’ version of the calendar would speed things up quite a bit ?

Hey @Mattboggs,

The “Pro” plugin is not a pro “Version” of anything, to be clear. The Events Calendar is the free, core plugin that provides the base event features. All other add-ons are add-ons to this main plugin; so no matter what, The Events Calendar must remain active.

I only mention this to make it clear, too, that Events Calendar Pro will not “speed up” anything.
