Cut Off Times Not Working Properly with Date Picker in Event Search Bar

Cut off times on or after midnight does not work properly when a day is selected from the main Event Search Bar:
Example: If you select a specific “Thursday” using the date picker in the event Search Bar, any events from the previous day (Wednesday) that go until midnight or past midnight will appear in the results when in list view, map view, photo view and week view.

I have my cutoff time set to 3am for all events.
Please fix.

The same issue was happening when using the Day Filter in the Filter Bar but that has been resolved with the 3.6 update. Now this just needs to be resolved with the Date Picker in the main Event Search Bar too.
