Customizing tag for event titles in monthly view

I have the Pro version and installed a release of The Events Calendar July 6, 2014. I had to revert because the theme I use for 50+ sites has a shadow effect on headlines. The result was that all event titles in monthly view were quadrupled, making them unreadable.

Is there a solution — a way to change the tag for the event titles in monthly view?

Hi crharrison!

Good question. I imagine that the CSS tags for the event title must have been update between those two releases. You can certainly update the tag by creating a template override (more on this in our Themer’s Guide).

I think the easiest way, though, might be to update your custom styles to use the new CSS tag. That way, you only have to update the CSS file as opposed to creating a custom template override. 🙂
