Customizing for event listing

That does indeed look like a nice layout!

The best starting point if you want to learn how to safely customize our views is our Themer’s Guide:

theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide

I’d recommend spending some time becoming familiar with those concepts and begin working from there (perhaps you could even reach out to the team behind that other site and ask if they can share any of their code, and or check and see if you might be able to hire the same team) 🙂
