Customizing calendar colors/design

Hi The Events Calendar

I will like to know if I purchase the “The Events Calendar Pro” package I will have access to change the colors/design of the basic calendar on my website. Kindly confirm this before I proceed with finalizing the process.

Hey there

We do have a few ways that you can customize the colors/design of your events on your site.

1. Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
2. You can add additional settings to Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar. by installing our Customize Calendar extension https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/calendar-customizer/.
3. We generally don’t recommend that you change the theme or plugin’s CSS files directly, as they will be overwritten. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
4. Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
5. Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
