Customize View of Event & Tickets

Hello,

I’m really needing your help. I’ve searched a lot of the “Help Desk” topics and just can’t seem to find what I’m really needing / looking for.

I’ve been very frustrated with our current event page as there doesn’t seem to be any way to customize the page to have 2 columns and avoid having the only place for tickets all the way at the bottom of the page.

Ideally, I would like to be able to customize our events page to look like this –

I’ve been told by the Unconventional Business marketing person (sample link above) that an upgrade to Events Pro would enable us to be able to do something similar.

1) Is this true?
2) If so do you have instructions of how we can customize it after purchasing upgrade plugin?
3) Or, what is that we would need to do to accomplish this goal?
