ParticipantHi,
I am a web designer based in the UK looking for some custom work for the Events Calendar Pro on one of our client’s websites.
We are using the plugin at the below development site but need a few tweaks made. Are you able to help with the below customisations?
Home page – http://79.170.40.177/banff-uk.com/
Main Events page – http://79.170.40.177/banff-uk.com/locations-and-tickets/map/
Please let me know if you provide this service and what costs are associated with the work.
Required changes if possible:
1. Custom map markers – Is it possible to replace the default red map markers with a custom image? Perhaps how these guys have done it here.
2. Google Map View Type – Is it possible to have the map on “Terrain” view by default?
3. Map zoom levels – Is it possible to have the default zoom level for the map slightly more zoomed in? The zoom buttons have become lost, perhaps a script issue on the home page? Is this something you can fix?
4. Location & tickets page categories to display popular events – Is it possible to have “quick links” for Event regions or categories? i.e. All, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland. This site does it nicely but with countries here – e.g Belgium, Germany, France tabs when you scroll down.
5. Events listings format – Is it possible to rearrange the layout of the listing page beneath the map to a table similar to this page too? With columns for;
Column 1 – the date in the format “Saturday 24 January 2014” with the time listed on the line underneath – similar to this page.
Column 2 – The city and the venue – again perhaps a similar format to that of the above link
Column 3 – This would include the film programme showing that night – the two options for this column would be “Red Films” and “Blue Films” (Most likely tags or categories). It would be good if the film programme is clickable (so if they click on the Red Films button then they click through to the “films” page so they can see the films in the “red” programme.
Column 4 – “Details & Tickets” – this links through to the unique event page for that event.I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks,
Laurence Caro

MemberHi there, Laurence! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums. We hope you’re digging the plugins so far. 🙂
We help troubleshoot plugin issues here in the support forums, but we’d be happy to pass along some names of freelancers who might be able to help out with custom work. Send us an email to pro [at] tri.be (you can reference this thread, if you’d like) and we’ll give you some recommendations.
I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, but please feel free to hit us up with a new thread if any other questions pop up. We’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!
