Custom Title Tag and Meta Description for Each Event

Is there a way that I can set up a template (using Yoast or directly in The Events Calendar PRO) to make it so that the meta title tag and meta description tag of the recurring event are dynamically changed based on the specific event occurrence’s date?

Example: For a show on 10/11/2017, I don’t want it to display the same title tag and meta description as the show on 10/12/2017 (etc).

On 10/11/2017, I’d want the title to say “Show Name [10/11/2017] – Site Name”.
On 10/12/2017, I’d want the title to say “Show Name [10/12/2017] – Site Name”.
The same concept for the meta description tag.

Hi Kenn!

Yes, there is a workaround. Using the code in the first article I shared I came up with, I came up with a snippet that will accomplish what you are looking for.

Try placing the following snippet in your theme’s functions.php file and let me know if it works for your recurring events:
