ParticipantWe’ve recently found that recurrence rules are not available in ECP. I found a thread which discussed this and recommended changing to the 2015 Theme, deactivating all plugins, flushing the cache, and starting them back up one by one. So, that’s what I did and it doesn’t look like it’s a plugin issue. The problem does come and go when I switch to and from our theme. The theme was created by a web developer when he built our site and I don’t want to go back to them if I don’t have to. Plus, I’m not a WordPress guru either. So, having discovered this issue of a seemingly bad theme, what do I do next?
Thanks…February 25, 2016 at 10:25 am #1082100Nico
MemberHi there @meridianrvresort,
Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about this issue. The support we provide is a bit limited if you could narrow down indeed to a theme issue, and in this scenarios we recommend customer to contact theme author so they can review the issue.
recurrence rules are not available in ECP
Can you please elaborate a bit more on this? You mean the options are not available in the backend? Or the information not showing in the front end? if possible send me a link to the front-end of the site where I can see this happening
Please let me know about it,
Best,

ParticipantThanks for responding Nico. I’ve been able to narrow things down a little further. What actually happens is that when you click on “Add Event”, a new event page comes up, but it is missing the dropdown which lets you choose “Once”, “Every Day”, “Every Week”, etc. I just this morning found out that if you click “Add Another Rule” the screen refreshes and the dropdown with it’s options shows up. I guess this is a workable way of doing things but I’d rather have it show up without have to “Add Another Rule”.

MemberThanks for following up! Still not sure what can be causing this behaviour. Maybe the web developer hid the dropdown to clean the interface?
If you switch to a WordPress Default theme (TweentyFifteen, TweentySisteen, etc) does this works as expected? In that case there’s not much we can do about it 🙁
Have a great weekend,
