Custom sidebar widget for single event page

Hey guys,

I have created many single events. Now I want to make custom things in the sidebar on the right side, like a contact person for the respective event.

Is it possible to make a custom sidebar for a single event? I only found the Events Widget Area in my widget settings, but this is for all Event pages.

Thanks for getting in touch and for using The Events Calendar! I hope you’ve been enjoying it so far. 🙂

I do think it’s possible to have a different or unique sidebar for each event post, though it’s not a feature that is directly supported by The Events Calendar. Rather, it would take custom development to make it happen.

While I don’t have a working example of that, I was able to find this post that might be of help. It’s a little dated, but the example looks like a solid path for creating different sidebars on a per-post basis.

Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution for you, but I do hope this at least helps get you started in the right direction.
