    Hi!

First of all WooTickets is amazing plug-in and it saved me a lot of time.
At the moment I’m building a webshop for a client and they will be hosting a lot of different events. We would like to make their lifes as easy as possible. Now they have to type in the whole ticketname, when creating a ticket. (Otherwise the sales department has no clue which tickets are sold and accounted for). For example “Painting course 10 februari 2014 Rotterdam at 14.00 – Student”. But “Painting course 10 februari 2014 at 14.00 Rotterdam” should be generated automatically based on the event settings. Only the “Student” should be filled in.
So I’ve been browsing through the wootickets and tribe-events code and found where the (poduct)name was created and saved, but unfortunately there was no filter. So it isn’t possible to solve this in such a manner it would still work after a update of the plugins.
Is there another solution or could a filter be created in the next versions of the software?

    Thanks!

    Remi

    Hi Remi,

    Glad you’re enjoying the plugin!

We’d welcome any feature requests you might make with regards to extra filters – right now though you could explore making use of WordPress’s own wp_insert_post filter (actually a number of filters/actions fire when the ticket is created) or even prepopulating the ticket name field with a little Javascript magic.

Could be neither of those approaches is exactly ideal, but they certainly ought to provide the basis of a working solution.

…and please do post a feature request if you’d like to see more specific hooks in a future release 🙂

    Hope that helps!

I’ll go ahead and close this one: if you need further help with this or anything else though please don’t hesitate to create a new thread.

    Thanks!
