custom post type, sticky posts

My theme has a special “slider” page which shows all posts in a special format, with a slider at the top. I’d like to set up the page to show my Events posts.

I assume I need to customize it to call the Events posts (i.e. I need to change “posts” here: “while ( $loop->have_posts() )” to something else – but what?

Thanks for your comment. We’d be happy to point you in the right direction. I just took a look through the URL you provided to try and find an example of this type of page but I didn’t come across it. Do you have a URL with an example so I can get an idea of what you want?
