Custom link for event in Venue page

I use single-venue.php to display a list of events. How can I use a custom link for the title of each event on that page? The custom link could be added to the event as an additional field.

The goal is to use custom links rather than the default (link to the single event) for the event titles that are displayed in any event list ( upcoming events list, list of events for a venue, or a category, etc). I have a page for each event (in this case the events are courses with many options) with the ability to purchase the course, so I would just like to link directly from the event title to the specific page for each course rather than having to add a button in the event description.

Sorry my initial post got deleted. Thanks for clarifying. So you’d like Event titles to link to a WordPress page rather than the built in Event page that is default, right? And were you looking to do that on just the Venue page, or in all listing of the Event title?

Thanks for clarifying, ML. I believe this is possible by doing template overrides on all of the views that include the event title. You can read more about template overrides here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/#views

For this particular change, take a look at this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/clicking-event-title-link-on-the-upcoming-events-page/

The user there wanted to remove the Event title link from the list view. You could use a similar method (but different code) to go in and change the link that gets called. To change that in all listings of the Event title would require going through the various relevant views and changing them all to match.

I’m sorry I can’t provide a simpler solution, but I hope you’re able to achieve what you’re looking for.
