Custom Fields on Event Category

    Hey,

    I want to add additional fields to the Event Category page but can’t seem to fully implement this with the Advance Custom Fields plugin or find a way to do it with additional fields.

    I know there is a way to add additional fields to Venues and Organisers but can I add these to Categories too?

    If not I can get Advance Custom Fields to display on the Add New Event Category form but they’re not actually doing anything, and they aren’t added to already created categories as I would expect.

    Any ideas?

    Hi, Mark.

    Organizers and Venues are custom post types.

    Event Categories is a custom taxonomy (tribe_events_cat), attached to the Events custom post type.

    Hopefully this information will help you continue moving forward.

    Hi Cliff,

    Yes so when I add the fields created in ACF to the Taxonomy Term tribe_events_cat I can see them on the Event Categories page (see fields Category Image and Test Text in fields-added.png). However if I fill them in and then go to edit the new category those fields don’t exist (see editing-cat.png) but I can find the data in the database?

    Any idea what would be stopping me from seeing the fields on the edit category pages?
