    Hi,
I got a question about custom fields in Events Calendar Pro.
I know there’s a simple way in to add fields and show them in ECP templates. Can this be done also with ACF fields?
Also, I need a special “Day view” with rows as hours and columns as one of my custom fields – “rooms” (like schedule/gannt sorted by rooms), and I need to switch between days with arrows in this wiev. Is there a way to generate views like this?

    Hello Andrzej,

Thanks for reaching out with your question.

Out of the box that is not possible with our plugins, but with custom development it can probably be done. I know that there are users who are also using ACF, though don’t know exactly how.

    To give you more info:

On the day view there is already the possibility to move forward and backward. There are 2 URLs at the top of the page.

If you decide to do this custom development, then you will most probably need to do a template override. You can find further details on that in our Themer’s Guide – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Hope this helps you get started.

I just want to give you heads-up on one more thing. Based on our support policy we are limited in supporting customization. I can give you some guidance and pointers but you will need to do the heavy lifting.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
