Custom Field: Limit Attendees

Hi, I’d like to add a custom field for the event organizer that limits the number of attendees.

Basically I’m creating a site that will allow users to create an event and request a certain number of food trucks to show up for catering purposes. It would be nice to simplify the process and just have a field where they select the number of trucks they want (limit # of signups based on that number), rather than using a ticketing system, I think that will just confuse them.

Is there a way to do that with this plugin? The whole ticketing system doesn’t really make sense when really they are just requesting a certain number of trucks or “attendees”.

Hi James.

I believe I understand your request. However, our PRO Additional Fields does not have a “number” or “integer” field type.

However, you could do a Dropdown field type if you knew the max quantity anyone might want, such as “0, 1, 2, … 28, 29, 30” as the options.
