Custom Field doesn't Stick

We were able to add a custom field (i.e., cmsmasters_heading_subtitle) to our profiles before upgrading to Events Calendar Pro & even update the field on older profiles.

However the field reverts back to its old value when a profile is updated. We can work around this by updating the field after a profile update but that’s annoying.

Worst is new profiles won’t let us add the field at all since it requires an update to stick.

We created a test page – https://www.bawdc.org/test-about/ with a couple of test profiles. We hoped that the issue would go away with new profiles after moving our license to the live site but there are still issues.

With the older profiles, I could add the custom field (cmsmasters_heading_subtitle) but it’s not in the drop-down anymore. Are we missing something?

Thanks for coming back to us!

I am really sorry you are having this issue. Unfortunately, those profiles pages is not a functionality we provide with our plugins. That may be something built in with your active theme, which I see is Dance Studio. You may want to contact the theme authors to see if they can help you out with your issue.

I’m sorry I can’t be of help here, but there is really not much we can do for something we didn’t build.

For now, I changed the code to show “Come” “Dancing” instead of “Free” “Tickets”. I could just comment the section out.

I’ll check with them designer.

Sorry about the comment above, I thought this was another open ticket involving prices.

cmsmasters_heading_subtitle is obviously the site designers variable.

Regarding the profile issue, I really hope you can solve it with the theme authors.
