GuestHi, I’m interested in using your plugin for a project I’m currently working on and I was wondering if it’s easy to customize some of the views that the plugin comes with. For my project I need to have the events presented in a couple different ways that are all different than what i’ve seen within the examples on your site. If it is possible, what is the process in doing it properly? Are there template files I can work with and css files i can edit?
thanks

KeymasterHello Biboso,
Thanks for reaching out, that is a great question you have there.
It is absolutely possible to create custom designs and views based on your needs and desires. 🙂 The plugins are created in a way that it is easy to create overrides that are preserved even after a plugin update.
As a starting point for creating custom design I recommend these 2 articles from our knowledgebase:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/template-overview/I do hope this helps answer your questions and please, don’t hesitate if you want to know anything else.

GuestGreat, that helps a lot!
I have another question, I’m trying to set up a website to accept registrations/payments for cooking classes. What plugins of yours do you recommend I use, below are my required featured I need to set up.
Class location
Class times
Class price
Class attendee limits
Option to register/pay for more than one class at a time (multiple registrations)It looks like Events Calendar and Event Tickets Plus is what i need but no sure if that’s what i need exactly. What do you recommend?

KeymasterHey Eric,
Happy to help you out with this.
Yes, you got it right.
The Events Calendar will let you create your events / classes including location, time, and price, however this plugin alone doesn’t give the option to sell tickets.
Event Tickets will allow your visitors to register for different events through RSVPs. And you can set a limit to the number of registrations / RSVPs per event.
Event Tickets Plus will give you the possibility to sell tickets to your events. Please note that you will also need a shopping cart plugin in order for this to work. ET Plus supports WooCommerce, WP eCommerce, Shopp and Easy Digital Downloads. If you don’t know which of these to use, then here’s an article that could help you decide:
http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/choosing-ecommerce/These three plugins should set you up for business.
Does this answer your question? Let me know.
