ParticipantI have attached my CSV to the topic. It is formatted correctly according to CSV lint.

But I get the notification:
Import complete!
No events were imported or updated.I am unsure what I am doing wrong here or why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

MemberHello
I ran into the same issue when importing .csv files. WordPress itself has a bug in this case. The workaround for now is to install the Disable Real MIME Check plugin just long enough to import the file. Disable the plugin as soon as you are finished though, for security purposes.
Let me know if this works for you. I’ll also remind the team here that this bug wasn’t resolved with the last update of WordPress.
Thanks,
Courtney 🙂March 29, 2017 at 7:31 am #1261427getabsolute
ParticipantI tried adding the plugin and activating it. I have no problem uploading the CSV same as before and the importer runs but still no dice I get this every time

So what I have done is create a fresh install of WordPress, event calendar and now the real mime check on my local machine
I have no events: https://gyazo.com/b78cfb7fb46cd6a29028c97a9ed6ea76
I run the importer and get that notification and still have no events. I have tried two versions of PHP and debugging mode. I am going to begin to remove things from my CSV starting with the HTML description but from my understanding the Description can be HTML.

ParticipantHOLY MESS! I have corrected it.
User Error big time.
I was not defining one of the columns as event name. I am so sorry thank you for your time.
So for future reference to anyone that finds this. YOU MUST DEFINE AN EVENT NAME IN YOUR IMPORT!
