CSV Import on hosted file

We love the looks of this calander, But want to know if its possible to use a CSV file hosted on our server (That is automatically updated on our back end) as an external data source?

Or failing that if there is a way to schedule it to update from the CSV File every day or so (We host about 3000 training events every year and the file is updated frequently)

Thanks for reaching out! I’m so glad to hear you’re giving The Events Calendar a look and hope it’s a goof fit for you. 🙂

The calendar does not include an automatic CSV import right out of the box. However, we do have an extension called iCal Importer that you might be interested in. It does do automatic imports from other sources to The Events Calendar. I do want to caution though that it pulls from sources with a valid iCal URL–such as Google Calendar. That way, for example, you could create events in Google Calendar and automatically feed them into your WordPress site on a scheduled basis.
