Scott
MemberHello,
When I upgrade from version 1.6.4 to 1.6.5 (with the goal to upgrade to 2.0.3), I have no problems at all. When I upgrade from 1.6.5 to 2.0.3, my client’s navigation gets messed up.
Any multiple word title (both main nav title and drop-down menu title) is forced to multiple lines – and the background graphic for our nav is cut short.
Here is a screen shot:

Thank you for your assistance.

MemberHey Scott. Thanks for posting this; can you confirm that the problem happens in both FREE alone (2.0.3) and free+PRO as you’ve noted here? In the meantime I’ve asked Jonah, our dev, to see if he has any suggestions on how to resolve this.

ParticipantHi Scott, sounds and looks like a script error. Have you looked in Chrome Developer Tools and/or Firebug to see if there are any script errors and what script they may be referencing as the culprit? Looking at the site now it looks fine but I’m assuming you’re still running the older version correct? Do you have a development version I can look at to troubleshoot?

MemberHi Jonah,
I’m running version 1.6.4 on both the live site and development site.
I will email login to the development version of the site (WordPress), FTP, cPanel and hosts file information (since the dev site is not live).
When I upgrade to 1.6.5, the navigation is fine. It’s only when I upgrade to 2.0.3 that I get the error. You can install 1.6.5 – to confirm there is no problems and then you’ll see the nav problems with 2.0.3.
Thank you.

MemberI decided to go ahead and upgrade to version 2.0.3 so you don’t have to install anything – trying to save time and show you the error on the dev site.
Also, I didn’t see any errors in Firebug.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi Scott, here’s the problem. In the events.css there is this CSS that’s affecting your menu:
.navlink {
width: 30%;
}
I would suggest just removing that class from your menu items but I’m sure you can figure it out from here. Let me know if you need anything else with this.
Thanks,
