ParticipantI am using Event Tickets Plus and have added a 3% credit card fee to ticket orders. Our front-end cart adds the fee to the subtotal and shows the correct total. It doesn’t display the fee as a line item in the order. Is there a setting so it does show a line item? Thank you.
Your order
Product Total
Lucky12-Oysters × 2 $136.00
Subtotal $136.00
ADD_FEE_TOTAL $0.00
Admin CC Fee $0.00
Total $140.08December 6, 2017 at 12:24 pm #1399714oneboat
ParticipantAdding to my original post: Most orders (about 75% of orders) add the 3% credit card fee to the order, included in the total price. That is correct. There are Admin CC Fee $0.00 items in the order details, which is the way we set it up.
Some of the orders, in addition to the Admin CC Fee $0.00 also have ADD_FEE_TOTAL with the 3% fee amount added. So 3% is added and 3% is included. The fee is being charged twice. Why is that happening and how can I fix it?
Thank you.

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
Did you set up tax classes to add these fees to the tickets? If so, can you please send me a screenshot of your settings for the classes? To display the fees separately, try changing the “Display prices during cart and checkout” setting under WooCommerce > Settings > Tax to “Excluding tax” and see if that works for you?
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantThank you Jennifer! I’ve attached a screenshot. Where is “Display prices during cart and checkout”?

KeymasterHi George,
Thanks for sending the screenshot! I was thinking that you were using tax classes to add the fees to tickets. It looks like the fees are being added through the WooCommerce Authorize.Net AIM Gateway plugin. I’m not familiar with that plugin, so I’m afraid I’ll have to refer you to the WooCommerce documentation for this one. However, you might try enabling taxes, which will give you the “Display prices during cart and checkout” option under WooCommerce > Settings > Tax. I’m not sure how that will work with the extension you’re using, but it’s worth a shot!
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer
