    Hi there,

    I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how I may be able to create an event that has the options of Single Seat or Single Table tickets.

    To explain further, we have a social event where there is a total of 240 seats, which is 20 tables of 12 people. We want to be able to offer potential attendees the ability to choose a Single Table ticket (which allocates 12 Single Tickets) or just a Single Ticket where we can allocate these people to any table’s that are left over on the night.

    The main thing is that if someone books a table, the overall ticket capacity drops by 12. I hope this makes sense!

    Thanks for reaching out!

    There is not currently a way to decrease the stock automatically like this when a single ticket is purchased (in this case a “Table” ticket). You can read more about how sharing the ticket stock across multiple tickets (on the same event) works by default here.

    However, if you are using WooCommerce as your ecommerce platform, you should be able to get this set up with a third-party add-on…I would recommend taking a look at the following:
