Hello forum
I would like to ask the experts some advise please. Since installing Events Pro, my URL crawl errors in Google Search Console have jumped through the roof-from 1-2 errors to currently 991 not found, and 69 soft 404’s.
Is this normal?
I also got a staggering 9000 + critical errors from onpage.org all relating to event pages..I dont have events all day every day. 365 days
I have attached a couple of screenshots
May 21, 2017 at 7:47 am #1286858DennisParticipantI have the same issue on my site. Crawl errors have gone up the last weeks. Especially soft 404 errors. Those are not real 404 errors. But crawling these URLs costs crawl budget from Google.
I have enabled daily and monthly view and disabled everything else. Still Google is crawling pages like https://www.wann-is-was.de/kalender/kategorie/sport/fussball/woche/2016-11-28/. That site looks like a 404 page, but sends out a code 200 (OK).
Is there a way to prevent the creation of these pages (weekly view, list view and so on)?
May 22, 2017 at 6:08 pm #1287389CliffMemberHi, Erling. Sorry you’re experiencing this, and thanks for the screenshot.
I checked https://isleofyoga.com/events1/page/10 and confirmed that it is a 404.
However, I’m not sure how this URL is generated — having “page” in it and having “10” in it — because if you go to List View and click Previous Events, it goes to https://isleofyoga.com/events1/list/?tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past instead of something like /page/10
Please install https://wordpress.org/plugins/rewrite-rules-inspector/ and send me a screenshot of its analysis of https://isleofyoga.com/events1/page/10
@theedge, please do the same and move your reply to a new thread of your own so we can focus on each user’s individual issue.Thank you.

June 21, 2017 at 9:35 am #1301120Support DroidKeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
