Countdown widget is not centred?

Did you guys align the countdown shortcode to align left? I’ve tried to centre it but with no luck. My page code is messy now because i’ve had to try and fix this issue by adding wider columns to the left of the shortcode and no columns to the right which has made it messy.

Can you please assisi with this?

Hey Tommy,

It looks like your theme styles are setting most of the styling for the widget on your site. We do not explicitly align the text to the left–that is likely coming directly from your theme and needs to be updated from there.

Sorry I don;t have a solid answer for you here, but I hope this at least points you in the right direction.

Well nothing else on my site is aligning to the left. Only your plugin. If it was my site causing this left alignment then other things will have this issue.

Can I please ask Cliff to look at this for me? He seems to know everything about the meaning of life. =p

I’m afraid Cliff is out most of this week. However, I can assure you the answer I am giving you here is the same place he would land on here as well. 🙂

Here is a screenshot of the code for the text in the Countdown Widget. The text is set to be centered. If the text is not centered on your site, then it is likely because it is being overridden by your theme.

You are certainly welcome to update the styles of the Countdown Widget using the resources outlined in our Themer’s Guide. Anything beyond that, however, I am afraid would need custom development which is outside the level of support we can provide here in the forums.
