    Hello. I would like to know if the ticketing system of events calendar has this feature of a countdown timer for everytime there is an event of purchasing. Example: In a certain event, there is 5 remaining tickets and you are the one who access the tickets first. The system would set a priority for you using a countdown timer. Within that given time you have the priority to hold that ticket. This is to ensure that no other purchaser can get that and you get the tickets first.
    If this is already in the ticketing system of events calendar, I would really be glad to purchase the plugin and if not may I suggest to add this as a feature. I find this important because it’s like prioritizing those people who had access the tickets first. Just like you are getting on the line in a real event to get a ticket.

    Hey there,

    Excellent question!

    We do indeed have a countdown widget in The Events Calendar PRO that will add a timer that runs down to the start date of the event. However, we do not have a countdown widget that is specifically tied to the end date for ticket sales. That is a neat idea!

    You can certainly suggest that as a feature! In fact, we have a feature request forum and I’d love to encourage you to add it in there. When you do, it would be awesome if you could provide some additional details on how it might work. For example, what happens if there are multiple tickets and ticket types, both with the same and different sale end dates? Any bit of detail you can provide to give us a leg up will help a ton. 🙂
