GuestIs there a way to display a calendar in a page that includes (consolidates/combines) more than one actual WD Event calendar? I am working on a cub scout website that will include public events and private events. The public events would be available to non-registered users and the private events only to approved subscribers.
On the the main page I would like to use the calendar widget to display the public WD Event calendar. Once logged in, I would like for subscribers to see a displayed calendar which includes both events on the WD Event private calendar and the ones on the WD Events public calendar in a single displayed calendar.
The short code (for example [ecwd id=”80″]) implies only one WD Event Calendar can be displayed, but can it do something like [ecwd id=”80″,”81″,”82″] to display multiples?

MemberHi Trey and thanks for getting in touch!
Juts to confirm, are you using The Events Calendar or plan on using it? I only ask because it sounds like you might be using another plugin instead.
If you are planning to use both plugins together, then one idea you might consider is using our iCal Importer add-on. That will allow you to fetch events from one source and import them into The Events Calendar so that all your events are displayed together in a single calendar.
Cheers!

GuestI am using the free version of WD Calendar right now, but would upgrade to professional if I can get this issue addressed.
I don’t want to use two calendaring plug-ins. If I can find a way to consolidate multiple WD Event calendars into a single view page or widget, that would be the best.
This way, when an event is created the user can simple check which WD Event calendar the event should be added to, public or private. This would be way easier to train people on than using two systems, but again the key is having a consolidated view so members could see public and private events together.

MemberHey Trey, thanks for following up!
This is actually a support forum for The Events Calendar. If you’re looking for help with WD Calendar, then I would recommend reaching out to those folks. Although I’m unfamiliar with WP Calendar, it looks like this is the support forum you might be looking for:
