We have recently upgraded all the Events Calendar plugins (including PRO to 4.4.24.2). While this has cut the time for adding recurring events from 30 minutes to a couple of minutes, we are still getting the ‘connection lost’ status message, but when we refresh the page everything seems to have been saved properly.

What triggers that ajax message, and is there something else we should be looking at?

    Hi Leon,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Do you have a large number of events on your site?

You may want to consider reducing the Clean up recurring events after and Create recurring events in advance for settings under Events Settings < General.

You may also want to take a look at our Performance Considerations and see if that helps as well:

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Thanks so much!
