    Hello Tribe!

My site uses Dynamik Website Builder theme on top of the Genesis framework.

    Where should I create tribe-events-pro.css and widget-calendar.css?

On localhost, I have /pw3/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar, where lives the-events-calendar.php

I have a custom folder, where lives my tablepress-custom.css

Can I put these tribe css files in custom or is it essential that they stay in a particular location? And if so, I am not sure where that should be!

    Hey @Martin!

Can I put these tribe css files in custom or is it essential that they stay in a particular location? And if so, I am not sure where that should be!

You will want to put the custom CSS file in a specific location; find your active theme’s directory and make a new folder there called /tribe-events. Inside this folder, add your custom tribe stylesheets.

Read this guide for more information about this system → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Now, as for finding your theme directory itself, this should be in /wp-content/themes/. If you need more help from there, contact your theme developer specifically for some assistance here – every theme is different and when there are frameworks like Genesis Framework at play, you might need to use a specific theme folder or child theme folder.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    George

    George, thanks for that!

    I have these files now:

    …/wp-content/themes/dynamik-gen/tribe-events/pro/tribe-events-pro.css
    …/wp-content/themes/dynamik-gen/tribe-events/pro/widget-calendar.css

However, I had to put back the !important for everything.

Until I work out the Skeleton / Full / Tribe Events settings.

But my style sheets are in the right place now. Thanks for your help.

    Thanks for the update Martin!

I’ll close up this thread for now but if other issues, comments, or concerns arise, open a new thread any time 🙂
