GuestI have WP-Member plugin (by Chad Butler) installed on my website. When I install event plugin I am not able to see anything on events page instead it shows this (….more) on the page. But I am able to see individual event listing.
When I de-activate WP-Member plugin I can see the event calender/listing on the event page. Let me know how can I fix it as I am looking for event pro version.
Thanks

ParticipantHey Vikas,
Thank you reporting for this conflict. I’m sorry to hear about it, and am also sorry to admit that at this time the best course of action would be to reach out to the WP-Member folks directly. Report this conflict in detail there, and hopefully they can investigate the WP-Member codebase and see if there’s a specific bug causing this.
Thank you,

GuestHello George,
I have checked out with the settings of event plugin. When I select event template as “Default Events Template” the event calendar is visible on the page (without default right sidebar) but when I select “Default Page Template” the calendar is not visible on the page instead shows this (…more) but default right sidebar is visible.
Basically I want default right sidebar on the event page which I am not getting by making the “Default Events Template” selection.
Let me know if I am missing out something in template settings.
Thanks

ParticipantHey Vikas,
Thanks for describing these tests. What they reveal is that the page template from your theme (which is labeled “Default Page Template”) is broken in some way to prevent proper calendar functioning with the theme’s “Default Page Template” template.
To get your customized layout for the calendar, with the right-sidebar, you should contact the theme developer to help troubleshoot the broken theme template and see if you can get the sidebar to display properly with the calendar.
Alternatively, you can custom-code your own theme templates with sidebars and then use those templates instead. However, this is something you’d have to code yourself or hire someone to code for you.
I’m sorry that with both the WP Member plugin conflict, and the theme page template conflict, there is not much we can do 🙁 With this in mind, I will close up this thread for now. If you have other support issues, open a new thread any time.
Best of luck with your project,
George -
