ParticipantHey guys,
I have TEC installed and I noticed that after I updated TEC and Community Events after the most recent 2.0.10 and 1.4 release, I was getting duplicate submissions from my Gravity Forms entries. I tried doing a submission on my GF form and noticed that the error message or confirmation message wasn’t showing, so people are clicking the submit button a few times due to not seeing the message. If I deactivate TEC, the GF error/confirmation message works fine. This is only on Firefox, Chrome and Safari. It works fine on Internet Explorer. Please let me know if you’d be able to help. Seems like a script issue.November 14, 2012 at 8:13 pm #28114Casey
ParticipantMax,
Thanks for reaching out and so sorry to hear you’re having issues. Could you give me a link to your ‘Event Submission’ page so that I can review? Thanks!November 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm #28147Max

If you look at the GF form on the bottom for newsletter signup, you can see what I’m talking about. It works fine on IE but not on Firefox and Chrome. Same problem with my other contact forms. Also, when I deactivate TEC, it works fine on all browsers.

ParticipantMax,
Thanks for the link. Hopefully I can help you figure out what’s going on here. It looks like this is due to some JS errors that are in your theme: http://d.pr/i/ZnuUI’m seeing these errors on every page of your site, not just the ‘Event Submission’ page. I would talk to your theme developer and have them resolve these JS errors, and then let me know if this issue still persists. Thanks and let me know if we can help further!

ParticipantHey.. I actually figured it out. The Jquery version that was set in theme-js.php was 1.3.2! Wow. I changed it to 1.8.3 and that solved the problem. Everything is working fine now. Thanks for your help.
