Conflict with "Simply Exclude" plugin

Problem: My Event Widget does not restrict events shown by category or limit the details shown as I have set in the Widget Settings.

I have narrowed this problem down to a conflict with a plugin I use “Simply Exclude”. Any thoughts on how I can help these to be compatible?

Thanks for getting touch and I’m sorry things aren’t working too smoothly. I appreciate you testing to narrow the problem down to a plugin conflict.

We always do our best to make our plugins compatible, but of course we can’t make sure on every one. I recommend that you get in touch with the plugin developer and see if they can shed some light on the subject. If they believe it’s something more on our end that we can rectify we’d like to know and we’ll do our best to correct it in a future release.

I’m sorry I can’t be of more assistance, but hopefully we’ll be able to figure out a way to get the plugins to play nice together. Please do keep us updated.
