Conflict with Sensei

    I’ve seen other posts on this, but want to add our issue to the conversation. We just upgraded Events Calendar Pro and immediately all of our upcoming events disappeared. We use Sensei – I saw the threads identifying the conflict with Sensie and disabled it, so our events show again. But we really cannot just leave Sensei disabled for several weeks. We have several hundred students who have suddenly lost access to their online courses and they are understandably angry. We have many many workshops coming up around the world and depend on Events Calendar Pro as the central mechanism for getting people registered. Having to choose between Sensie and Events Calendar will cost us thousands of dollars either way.

    Is it possible for us to easily revert back to an earlier version of ECP while the problem is researched?

    We are sorry to hear about the conflict with the Sensei plugin you have been experiencing and all the trouble it is causing.

    Absolutely, you can do that. You just need to make sure that your the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro have “matching” versions.

    I’m experiencing the same issue with Sensei 1.9.5. Seems to work ok with 1.9.4 and EC version 4.1.3

    Hi,

    Just wanted to let you know that we could work this out with the Sensei team. They have just rolled out an update (version 1.9.6) with a fix for this issue, so you can go ahead an update the plugin in your site.

    Please let us know if this works as expected after the update,

    I installed the Sensei 1.9.6 update and it appears it only solves half of the problem. The calendar is now working and when you click on events they open up. So this issue is fixed. However, the events widget is still not working under Sensei 1.9.6. The widget returns to working status after disabling the latest version of Sensei. Thank you.

    Is there any update in regard to getting the “Event List” widget working with the latest version of Sensei? This widget is a bit part of my site. Thank you.

    Hey Dave,

    The fix for this is scheduled for one of the upcoming maintenance releases.
    Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!
