ParticipantHi Modern Tribe – I’ve searched for awhile and I’m impressed with your support of users on the forums here, and hope you will be able to assist me as well. I apologize if I didn’t come up with the right search terms to find an existing answer. I used your recommended trouble-shooting of using the default theme and no other plug-ins, then narrowing it down to find the conflict was indeed with Connections (http://wordpress.org/plugins/connections/), which we use with a premium template for our staff directory, so we would really like to keep both functions – the directory and your calendar. The problem we have, in addition to the overlapping field boxes resolved with your helpful snippet in another post (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/overlapping-drop-down-boxes-when-submitting-events-conflict-with-connections/ – thanks for that!), is that when logged in non-admin users (our staff members have Editor privileges) click on the “Events” or “Add New” on the Dashboard, they are taken to a blank white page if Connections is activated. If that plug-in is deactivated, they see the list of events to manage just fine. And, oddly enough, Admin level logged in user can view the page fine as well, even when Connections is also active. MORE INFO: I’ve tried logging in as a non-admin user on 3 separate computers with the same results, so it’s not a single machine’s configuration problem. If it helps, they CAN view categories, tags, venues, organizers and event add-ons on the Dashboard. Turned on WP_DEBUG true in wp-config, did not get any error codes (fatal or otherwise), still just the blank white page. Did not see any obvious error messages in Firebug either (although, admittedly, I am not adept with it) other than that in the “net” section, it stops after the first line (Get edit.php?post_type=tribe_e….etc.) whereas when logged in as admin and the page loads properly, more than a couple dozen items show. We have bought The Event Calendar PRO and the Community add-on. Browser = Firefox on Mac. Thank you for any assistance you can provide – I need my staff to be able to access the calendar as they will be managing it – but I need them to be able to do it from a non-admin user level access, as I’m sure you can understand. Thanks again. Terry

MemberHi Terry,
Sorry to hear you’re hitting difficulties here.
I don’t actually find the same: with Connections, The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO and Community Events activated I can login as an editor and reach the admin screens you referred to.
Are you seeing anything in your error log/have you reached out to the team behind Connections at all?

ParticipantUpdating to new releases of WordPress and Events Calendar PRO that came out after I posted this seems to have resolved the issue. Thank you for responding to my question.
