ParticipantIf there is one thing that lets this product down, its the lack of the ability to add copy to the submit event form, the thank you page and the lack of notifications on publish / confirmation on submission.
I need to do some form of redirect or edit the copy from “Event Submitted” to one that has a bit more user guidance on what happens next, Ideally I would like to have both confirmation page and triggered email. However I appreciate that is currently unlikely. I found a link to https://gist.github.com/caseypatrickdriscoll/8b4811d9010dd8d45a8f but I am struggling to find context where does this file / code go, how can I call it?
Appreciate any help thanks

MemberHi there, Nadine! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry the plugin hasn’t fully met all your needs. We definitely want to make our plugins as useful as possible to as many people as possible, so your feedback is helpful.
We’re a bit limited in terms of how much assistance we can provide for custom development tasks like this, but I can certainly help point you in the right direction here. 🙂
The snippet you found might be a good solution for you. If you plan on using it, it would go in your theme’s functions.php file. Please note that snippets sometimes need to be formatted to work properly with a theme, so you may need to fiddle with it a bit to work for you.
Here’s an alternative snippet you might want to consider. It’s a filter that allows you to customize the message that appears after an event has been submitted. It would also go in your functions.php file.
I like the idea of being able to set a custom confirmation page and can see how it might be useful for others as well. It would be awesome if you shared the idea on our UserVoice page. We check there for popular feature requests to add to future releases.
Cheers!

ParticipantWe are having a very similar issue in that we were actually directing users to a new page once they submitted an event. Here is the code we were using that is no longer working: https://gist.github.com/jg314/5299d64d073c6d3e0a67
Can you provide us some direction on how to fix this, since redirecting users to a new page was critical for tracking goals via Google Analytics.
Thank you.
