Conference Sessions

I know the question has been asked before, and what I’m looking for is a solution to our requirements (more than ‘we don’t do this’). We are currently looking for a way to create sessions within a conference that delegates can elect to attend, and create their own event calendar for.

Our client is currently using Pathable, and we believe we have a solution to most of their requirements using a combination of Buddypress, BBPress and Event Calendar Pro.

But the conference sessions are the missing piece.

What would be required to achieve this? If it’s not possible wiht the core of your plugin, how would we go about modding it to achieve our requirements?

You describe your needs as follows:

We are currently looking for a way to create sessions within a conference that delegates can elect to attend, and create their own event calendar for.

Our plugins unfortunately do not support these sorts of features at this time. What I mean is, our plugins don’t have features for “creating sessions within a conference” (i.e. sub-events within larger events), nor do our plugins provide the ability for individual users to create their own event calendars.

Making either feature a reality would require substantial customization far beyond the scope of our support forums. You can read more about this here.

So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you.
