Compatibility with WooCommerce Product Add Ons

Hello,

I am developing a train ticket selling website using the Avada theme, WooCommerce and Event Tickets Plus (all up to date versions). I have recently purchased the WooCommerce Product Add Ons (https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/) extension to allow an extra option to be added to a ticket (for example, upgrading the ticket to first class which adds £2.00 to the product total).

This plugin works fine on a default product created through WooCommerce Products, however when creating a ticket there is no where to select/create product add ons. As a way around this, I thought if I edited the ticket afterwards in WooCommerce (see screenshot 1) then I can create the product add ons there. However once saved and viewing the event, the product add ons are not there.

Is this simply because the WooCommerce Product Add Ons is not compatible with Event Tickets Plus? Or is there a way around this through customisation? Any help would be appreciated as I really need some way of adding extra pricing options to a ticket.

TO NOTE: I have created a child theme to modify where the tickets display on the single event pages with Avada. However I have tested with the Avada child theme, the default Avada theme and the default TwentySixteen theme and the issue still appears on them all. I believe this to be an issue between the 2 plugins – not the theme or any other plugins installed.

We have this reference, but, yes, I believe you’re correct in your findings for this specific setup.

Our ET+ plugin does the “send this item to cart” action, but it does not integrate with WooCommerce in the way that’d be ideal for your use case (upsells, add-ons, etc).

You could request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.
