Susan
ParticipantGreetings!
I just installed the latest update of The Events calendar and I REALLY do not like the new look of the calendar list. My featured images are showing up oversized, and I just like the old look better.
Additionally, I have Download Manager on my site and somehow my Community Events Calendar is now affected and the timezone dropdowns are messed up.
I saw on an older thread that an older version of TEC may have worked well with Download Manager? Is this the case? If so, I would much prefer to replace the current TEC version with an older version that has the look I prefer plus works well with Download Manager.
Can you send me an archived version?

MemberHi Susan,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the disappointment here!
Could you elaborate a little more on the changes to the List View appearance. That is indeed our longest-running view layout and we haven’t updated it in quite some time. Are you updating from version 2.0 or something newer?
Can you send me an archived version?
Absolutely. You can get past versions of The Events Calendar here on WordPress.org and past versions of your premium purchases by logging into this very site and heading to My Account > Downloads.

Admittedly, I haven’t Download Manager with The Events Calendar. I can say that we did not design The Events Calendar specifically to work with it, but it’s very possible that either the latest version or a past one will work just fine.
Cheers!

ParticipantActually I think the new look had to do with a theme update. I did a restore and it looks back to normal now.
I’ve seen a lot of threads with problems between download manager and the events calendar. Has there been any progress in fixing the glitches?

MemberPhew! I was worried that List View was busted there for a second–thanks for confirming!
Honestly, we have made no strides on our end to resolve any existing incompatibly issues with Download Manager. If the two happen to work together in the latest versions, it would be happy coincidence, but we haven’t intentionally addressed anything.

ParticipantThat’s a real shame. Download Manager doesn’t seem to interfere with any other plugins I’m using, and works really well on its own. I’ve paid for both TEC Pro and Community, so I would hope more effort would go into fixing the compatibility with a popular plugin like DM. I’ve already used DM to upload over 100 docs for my users to download, so I’m not in a position to switch. But, if I can find another event calendar that has the same functions as TEC but plays nice with DM I would make the switch. I do like TEC though, isn’t there any effort on your end to resolve this? I can’t continue to use TEC otherwise.

MemberHi Susan,
I’ve searched our ticketing system and feature request forum but don’t see any tickets or requests reporting any issues or enhancements to work on. It would be awesome if you could add that to the feature request forum so it can get on the radar. And, when you do, please do highlight how you would like to see Download Manager integrated so we have a good idea of what it needs to do.
Sorry I don’t have any more info for you at the moment, but does this at least help answer our question? Please let me know.
Thanks!
